CELEBRATING THE BEAUTY & EMPOWERING THE TALENT OF LATINAS NATIONWIDE
THE EVENT: Nuestra Belleza Nevada (NBNV) is an event designed to celebrate the Beauty, and empower the Talent of young Latinas in Nevada. Our contestants are provided with an exciting and unique pageant experience by giving them the skills they need in order to become a confident and successful belleza on and off our pageant stage. The selected contestants are trained and coached by our team of experts which help them get ready for the competition, through classes & seminars in areas like Modeling, Runway, Stage Presence, Dance, and Interview skills. NBNV isn’t just about beauty; we believe in empowering young Latinas, and promoting higher education, because belleza & brains will always stand above the rest!
Our successful star-studded annual event features a spectacular sold out pageant show year after year! We pride ourselves in producing an amazing & entertaining show with unique themes, musical guests, live performances, celebrity hosts & judges, and an exciting showcase focusing on the stars of the night.. our bellezas!
THE PURPOSE: Nuestra Belleza Nevada was founded by Leticia Castro, Nevada’s own TV personality, journalist, former beauty queen, and Nuestra Belleza Latina finalist. Leticia created NBNV as a way to give back to the community by supporting other young Latinas, giving them the opportunity to reach their goals, and help the community themselves while experiencing personal & professional growth.

INTERVIEW:
Pageant judges spend time with each contestant to learn about her successes, talents, goals and ambitions. Attention is focused on her poise, charm, self-confidence and her ability to communicate, as well as the substance of her answers.
TALENT:
Each contestant will be judged on her overall performance & her ability to entertain. The talent presentation must be approximately 90 seconds long.
SWIMSUIT:
Attention is focused on the confidence with which each contestant carries herself. Numerical measurements, height, or weight are not considered in the judging.
FANTASY COSTUME:
Attention is focused on the confidence, creativity, execution, and story. This costume should be representative of the contestants’ Latin/Hispanic heritage. It can be traditional or fantasy.
EVENING GOWN:
Each delegate wears a gown she has chosen for herself. Attention is focused on each contestant's overall appearance, self-confidence, sense of style and the beauty she brings to the gown of her choice.
ON-STAGE QUESTION:
Each selected delegate will respond to a question provided by the judges. Attention is focused on her personality, her ability to communicate in front of a crowd, as well as the substance of her answer

Who is eligible?
- Teen contestants must be between the ages of 14-17 by the date of the pageant. (Not Married / No Kids)
- Miss contestants must be between the ages of 18-27 by the date of the pageant. (Not Married / No Kids)
- Ms. contestants must be over 18 & up by the date of the pageant. (May be married and/or have kids)
- Must be of Latino/Hispanic decent or have a love for Latin/Hispanic culture.
- Must attend an audition/intervew.
- Must participate in all areas of competition and attend all required events.
- No experience is necessary.
- No height or weight requirements.
